DESCRIPTION: AQL 300 is a liquid blend of Polyphosphates and polymeric dispersants..
Ingredients contained AQL 300 is in accordance with Title 21, Section 173.310, of the Code of Federal Regulations for boiler water additives that may be safely used in the preparation of steam that will contact food. AQL 300 is authorized by the USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants.
APPLICATION: AQL 300 has application in steam boilers in the operating pressure range of 300 P.S.I.G or less. It is recommended for use in systems having either softened or hard water makeup. The phosphate in AQL 300 will combine with the feedwater calcium hardness to form a fluid sludge.
ATTENTION: Do not use in electrically heated seam boilers, as damage can result.
Authorized by the USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants.
Classification: G6
PRODUCT DOSAGE: The initial dosage of AQL 300 is 1 gallon for each 400 gallons of boiler water (3000ppm). Adjust the feed rate of the product to maintain a phosphate residual of 30 to 60 ppm as PO4 in the boiler.
METHOD OF FEED: Feed AQL 300 immediately downstream of the feedwater pump; alternate feed points are the feedwater storage tank or condensate receiver. Ensure adequate mixing of the product and contact time in the feedwater for oxygen removal. For best results, feed this product directly from the container using an electronic metering pump. If a chemical feed solution is necessary, use softened or low-hardness water. Boiler treated with AQL 300 will usually require an alkalinity-building supplement.

WARNING
MAY CAUSE SKIN IRRITATION
CAUSES EYE IRRITATION
MAY BE HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED
Contains Sodium Hexametaphosphate. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid contact with eyes. Wear safety glasses with side shields if the method of application presents the likelihood of eye contact. Swallowing may cause nausea or vomiting.
FIRST AID:
FOR SKIN CONTACT: Wash affected areas with large amounts of soap and water for several minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation develops.
FOR EYE CONTACT: Immediately rinse the eyes with water. Remove any contact lenses and continue flushing 15 minutes. Hold the eyelids apart to ensure rinsing of the entire surface of the eyes and lids with water. Get immediate medical attention.
IF SWALLOWED: Give 3 to 4 glasses of water, but DO NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, give fluids again. Get immediate medical attention if discomfort occurs.
